My friends and I enjoyed spending a long weekend at this cabin. The home-y feel of the cabin was an amazing atmosphere for our days of reading on the couches. We also enjoyed chatting in the hot tub and looking up at the stars. The view during the day of the mountains was amazing as well, especially with the leaves changing.

The location was absolutely perfect. Very private. The barn was awesome, had a beautiful view. Mary was very nice and answered all of our questions, we never had an issue getting ahold of her. If you want a private mountain retreat, this is the place for you! Pro Tip: Try to arrive during daylight hours, it can be very dark on the mountain roads. Its a private community so you will feel very safe.

My family and I went for a weekend get away. Everything was as expected! Beautiful view, clean home, nice beds and can't forget about the hot tub. Everything we were looking for. The house did have a steep incline, but nothing we couldn't handle. We would definitely stay at rolling in the hay again!

We enjoyed our stay at Mary's place. It is cozy and the view is great. Leatherwood Resort is very beautiful and private. One thing to note, it does take about 50 min on winding roads to get to Blowing Rock or Boone.

So peaceful! Well stocked, clean, easy check-in! What more could you ask for! We noticed a lot of bees on the front porch so beware if you're allergic-otherwise: this place is PERFECT
